Bangladesh President to attend COP29

The President of Bangladesh, Mohammad Shahabuddin, will attend the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Axar.az reports that this was stated during the meeting of Bangladesh’s newly appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan, Amanul Haq, with President Ilham Aliyev.

The head of state expressed his pleasure in recalling his previous contacts with the President of Bangladesh and highlighted Shahabuddin’s participation in COP29, wishing him success in his activities.

The ambassador mentioned the significance of COP29 and expressed their satisfaction that they will be represented at the presidential level at this event.
