Anti-terror operation ended separatism in Karabakh

"We liberated the regions of Aghdam, Kalbajar, and Lachin without a single shot being fired. After that, through purposeful and thoughtful policies and decisive actions, we significantly strengthened both our political, strategic, and military-strategic positions."

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev made these remarks during his address to the people on Victory Day.

The President stated that after ensuring control over important heights, the fate of a group of separatists, as well as those behind them in Karabakh and Armenia, was clear. He emphasized that they were given a choice but still failed to make the right decision:

"The anti-terror operation in September 2023, which lasted only a few hours, served as another lesson for them, and this put an end to separatism. Now, there is no trace of separatists left in the land of Karabakh."
