Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Axar.az reports that Turkish media provided this information.

During the phone call, bilateral relations between Turkiye and France, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.

Erdogan emphasized the importance of preserving Syria's territorial integrity and sovereignty and expressed satisfaction with France's decision to reopen its embassy in Syria.
