Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with Kaja Kallas, European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission.

During the conversation, the current state and prospects of Azerbaijan-EU relations were discussed, and regional and international security issues were addressed.

The sides emphasized that bilateral cooperation has significant potential and stressed the importance of intensifying political dialogue, including through mutual visits, to advance the issues on the agenda.

They also exchanged views on other topics of mutual interest.
