Brazil's president Jair Bolsonaro has posted a sexually explicit video on Twitter in an apparent attempt to discredit Carnival, the country's iconic annual street festival.

Axar.az reports citing Independent that, the footage, which he shared late on Tuesday evening, shows one man urinating on another person in front of a crowd of people.

"I don't feel comfortable showing it, but we have to expose the truth to the population knowing and always taking their priorities," Mr Bolsonaro tweeted.

He followed it up with another tweet on Wednesday morning, in which he asked, "What is a golden shower?".
