Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Yerevan in the spring of 2026.

Axar.az reports that this claim was made by the leader of the Armenian "For the Republic" party, Arman Babajanyan.

According to him, the leaders' visit is planned within the framework of the European Political Union Summit. He added that diplomatic efforts are also being made to invite US President Donald Trump to the summit.

Babajanyan noted that the participation of the leaders of Azerbaijan and Turkey in the summit could be an important step in terms of strengthening dialogue and consolidating peace in the region.

It should be noted that although mutual visits between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia have been on the agenda since the start of the peace process, there has been no official response to this yet. However, experts say that after the peace is signed, there will be no obstacles to the said visits taking place.
