President Ilham Aliyev, emphasizing the successful partnership established between the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan and this company since 2024, especially evaluated the joint investment in Italy's leading high-speed railway operator, Italo, as an example of fruitful cooperation. The head of state also said that the company's experience in areas such as airport management, energy transition, and artificial intelligence infrastructure opens up great opportunities for future cooperation.
Adebayo Ogunlesi emphasized that Azerbaijan's strategic geographical location and sustainable development priorities create important opportunities for long-term investments in the field of infrastructure. He stated that the company he leads is interested in deepening cooperation with Azerbaijan in the areas of energy transition, transport, and digital infrastructure.
