Due to recent events in the Middle East, another evacuation flight is being operated from Muscat, Oman, to Baku to bring back Azerbaijani citizens remaining in the region, including those in the United Arab Emirates.

Axar.az reports according to Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), the Boeing 787 on the Muscat–Baku route is expected to land at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in the coming hours. Around 200 Azerbaijani citizens are scheduled to return safely on this flight.

As the country’s national carrier, AZAL continues to ensure that all flights are conducted safely and in accordance with the procedures set by the relevant state authorities.
