Judging by the look of it, Prince Harry isn’t a fan of feet. But fear not, royal wedding fans, it wasn’t Meghan Markle’s cold feet that were freaking him out, it was some fake ones.

During today’s surprise visit to Belfast, Harry and Meghan came face-to-face with some dead body part replicas. They met Nuala Campbell, the founder of Titanic FX, which makes prosthetics for films and medical demonstrations. Most notably, they are used in the hit fantasy drama series Game Of Thrones, which is mostly shot in Northern Ireland.

Mrs Campbell told the couple the decaying foot was modelled on her own limb. ‘This is your foot?’ Harry replied. ‘You might want to have that looked at.’

She showed Harry and Meghan some dismembered feet, hands and fingers made from her unique gelatine mix. The Prince wasn’t quite brave enough to touch the lifeless limb, although he did touch a finger and describe it as ‘horrible’. As she looked on, Meghan said: ‘Oh my goodness.’

The couple came face-to-face with the props during a visit to a not-for-profit organisation, Catalyst Inc, aimed at nurturing entrepreneurial innovation. Afterwards, Mrs Campbell said their reaction was no different than anyone else. ‘I think everyone when they touch it for the first time is creeped out,’ she added.
