The fifth round of negotiations between Iran and the United States has begun in the Italian capital.

According to the news agency, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi departed for Italy at the head of an official delegation on Friday morning to participate in the fifth round of talks with the United States, arriving in Rome at noon.

Steve Witkoff, the senior US negotiator at the meeting, leads the United States delegation.
