World leaders continue to congratulate Ilham Aliyev

President of the Republic of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Axar.az presents the text of the letter.

“Your Excellency.

I extend my sincere congratulations, wishes of progress and peace to you and your people on the occasion of the national holiday of Azerbaijan - the Republic Day.

I would like to express my support for the people of Azerbaijan at a time when we are all facing challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic demonstrates the extent to which we depend on each other, and shows that solutions can only be found through close cooperation. I hope that our countries will continue to work together on a bilateral basis, as well as within international organizations such as the United Nations to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest. I would also like to emphasize, with your permission, that Estonia is and will remain a strong supporter of the Eastern Partnership. Estonia also continues to promote closer relations between the European Union and its neighboring partners.

President of the Republic of Albania Ilir Meta has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

President Ilham Aliyev was congratulated on May 28 - Republic Day by the chairman of the Brazilian-Azerbaijani interparliamentary friendship group in the Chamber of Deputies of the Brazilian National Congress, federal MP Claudio Cahado, Croatian President Zoran Milanovic and UNEP Executive Director Inger Andersen.
