TABIB: We have enough diagnostic tests for COVID-19

Information about the run short of coronavirus (COVID-19) tests in Azerbaijan, does not reflect the truth, the country has enough test reserve for coronavirus diagnosis.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by TABIB.

“As a large number of tests performed during the day, it affects the workload of the laboratories. As a result, the test results are naturally delayed. To eliminate this problem, iit was decided to temporarily restrict the testing of asymptomatic contacts.

There are currently 37 laboratories in the country. 10,000 daily tests were planned to be carried out in these laboratories, but due to a large number of requests, the number of test samples received in the laboratories during the day has doubled (19,178 tests), TABIB says.
