First Vice President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has made an Instagram post regarding the city of Shusha.

Axar.az reports that the post reads:

"After so many years of longing and pain, the day of May 8 has had an absolutely different meaning for us. Today Shusha is free! We bow before the courage, determination, and enthusiasm of our brave soldiers and officials, our Armed Forces, who crushed the enemy and restored the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. I respectfully commemorate memories of all martyrs, dead for the sake of the Homeland! Shusha is ours! Karabakh is Azerbaijan!"
