Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic as part of the Non-Aligned Movement's 60th anniversary celebrations in Belgrade.

During the meeting at the Serbian Foreign Ministry, the ministers expressed satisfaction with the current state of strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Serbia and expressed mutual interest in developing this cooperation in various fields.
The parties noted the successful development of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Serbia.
At the end of the meeting, the Ministers signed an agreement and two memorandums of understanding, including "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on mutual abolition of visa requirements for holders of passports", "Agreement on political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Serbia". "Memorandum of Understanding on Consular Cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Serbia" was signed.
We would like to note that on the same day, the Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Madat Guliyev and the Minister of Defense of Serbia Nebojsa Stefanovic signed an "Agreement on Military-Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Serbia."
