On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the world-famous photographer Reza Deghati, an event called "Witness of past and future humanity" was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center.

Axar.az reports that Culture Minister Anar Karimov, Deputy Head of the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant Colonel Anar Eyvazov, Deputy Education Minister Firudin Gurbanov and other public representatives took part in the event.

A video dedicated to the life and work of Reza Deghati was shown at the event.

Later, the Minister of Culture Anar Karimov made a speech and said that there are about 40 million Azerbaijanis living outside of Azerbaijan in the world, and among them there are many artists who represent our country:

"If we look at his life, we can see pages of heroism. I would say that Deghati's greatest work of art is his own life. Documentary and feature films will be made about his life."
