Kalagayi festival was held for the first time in Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
Axar.az reports that according to information, the festival was implemented with the support of the Shusha State Reserve Department and the organization of the Mirvarid Dilbazi Poetry Assembly Public Union within the framework of the "Sazli, sozli kalaghayi days" project.
It was reported that within the framework of the festival, residents of Shusha were presented with ancient kelaghayis, dry handicrafts, paintings, books, and a concert was organized. In the exhibition, 200 ancient kalaghayis, Güllü Eldar Tomarly's crocheted handicrafts, paintings by artist Gulnara Mammadova, handiwork by dramatist Aybeniz Jamalova, and the newly published book "My mother - kalaghaydi, kalaghay - my mother..." were presented.
