He said that the humanitarian consequences of the crisis, which was accompanied by the loss of lives of tens of thousands of innocent people and the destruction of civil infrastructure in Gaza and other Palestinian territories, have reached a critical level. In this regard, it is necessary to take urgent measures to prevent further bloodshed:

"Azerbaijan, which is an integral part of the Islamic world, expresses its solidarity with the residents of Gaza in this difficult period. We strongly condemn the increase in violence, the use of disproportionate force and the loss of civilian lives. This is a clear violation of international humanitarian law. Azerbaijan offers financial assistance to our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Our country has allocated 2 million US dollars to provide humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people affected by this crisis In addition, Azerbaijan allocated funds for the construction of a school for 600 students in Palestine.

A. Asadov said that Azerbaijan continues close contacts with other states of the region in the direction of providing humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people:

"We will continue to spare our efforts in eliminating the humanitarian consequences of the crisis. In addition to humanitarian aid, Azerbaijan is also playing a leading role in obtaining international support for Palestine. In this regard, we have hosted several high-level events. Among them, the establishment of the Islamic Financial Security Network and the Donor Conference to support the development of Jerusalem.Unfortunately, the effects of the escalation are not limited to Gaza and Palestine. poses a serious threat to global security and stability. The risk of tension spreading to the region is of great concern."

The Prime Minister noted that Azerbaijan calls on all parties to behave with restraint and refrain from any action that could lead to further escalation of the situation: "Respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states must be ensured. The use of force in any form contrary to the UN Charter is unacceptable. These fundamental principles The violation must be stopped immediately and unconditionally We call for a peaceful political process to find a way out of the crisis. The provision of humanitarian aid to the region must be strictly followed."

According to him, there is no alternative to ensuring the right of the Palestinian people to live safely and with dignity in their own state: "Therefore, Azerbaijan unequivocally and firmly supports the resolution of the conflict based on the two-state principle, with East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine. Azerbaijan will continue to promote dialogue and reconciliation." and will remain committed to efforts that support a just and sustainable solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."
