On December 28, investigators from Brazil's Center for Aeronautical Accidents Investigation and Prevention (CENIPA) arrived in the city of Aktau.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by Kazakhstan's Ministry of Transport.

Earlier, representatives of the company that manufactures 'Embraer' aircraft arrived in Aktau from Brazil.

It should be noted that on December 25, an AZAL aircraft operating a Baku-Grozny flight was severely damaged after being hit by Russian air defense systems over Grozny airspace. Denied permission to land, the plane diverted to Aktau but crashed near Aktau airport. Out of the 67 people on board, 38 were killed, and 29 survived.

Russia has not yet apologized to Azerbaijan nor held accountable those who refused the plane landing permission.
