The opinion shared by everyone today is that the process of defining new rules is currently underway.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with the Euronews TV channel:

“The world order as we know it no longer exists. The configuration of interaction that will be used by the international community is still unknown to anyone. There are different opinions on this. However, what is clear is that, first of all, each country should pay more attention to its internal affairs and internal capabilities and not rely on any assistance or even international law. Azerbaijan, which is a victim of the selective application of international law, has extensive experience in building its future at the expense of internal resources.”

The head of state noted that one of the important issues for the future is that countries will attach more importance to bilateral relations rather than to activities within international institutions.

“Because today some international organizations are either demonstrating their weakness or are completely paralyzed. Of course, we are still at the initial stage of global transformation, and many issues will depend on the course of events.”
