Today, another relocation convoy was sent to the village of Sugovushan in the Aghdara district.

The families resettling in Sugovushan village in Aghdara are families who had been temporarily housed in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings across various parts of the country.

In this phase, 53 families (174 individuals) have been relocated to the village. The returning residents expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state support provided. They also conveyed their appreciation to the brave Azerbaijani Army that liberated their lands, honored martyrs who sacrificed their lives, and paid tribute to heroic soldiers and officers.

Note that currently, in addition to the internally displaced persons relocated to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, approximately 40,000 people live in this region, including those working on ongoing projects, employees of local branches of various state institutions, as well as those working in healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy facilities that have resumed operations.
