In line with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev and within the framework of the First State Program on the Great Return to the liberated territories, the next group of families temporarily settled in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings across various regions of the country has departed from Baku’s Garadagh district for the newly rebuilt Sarijali village in Aghdam district.
Axar.az reports in this phase, 39 families (153 people) have been relocated to Sarijali village in Aghdam district.
Notably, nearly 40,000 people currently live in Karabakh and East Zangazur. Alongside the resettled former IDPs, this population includes individuals involved in the implementation of ongoing projects in the region, employees of local branches of various government agencies, and staff working in newly reopened healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy institutions.
