Russia reaffirms its readiness to assist Azerbaijan and Armenia in the peace process.
Axar.az informs that this was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, when answering a question from "Nyus.ru".
She recalled that the agreements reached by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia in 2020 fully retain their relevance.
"We repeat this every week when answering questions. The early restoration of full interaction in a multilateral format would, of course, contribute to the establishment of lasting peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus. Of course, we are ready to assist our Azerbaijani and Armenian partners in all key areas of reconciliation between the two countries," Zakharova said.
According to her, positive progress has been made towards the opening of transport and economic communications within the framework of the relevant trilateral working group co-chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
"We are ready to share our experience in the field of border delimitation and demarcation. I believe that our specialists in this field are recognized as one of the best in the post-Soviet space. We have unique cartographic materials, and we can also help in resolving humanitarian issues accumulated during the years of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. In general, we will only be glad. But I repeat, I will not say anything new. I am always happy to help our Azerbaijani and Armenian friends in advancing the process of normalizing relations," he added.
