AZAL cancels flights amid Middle East tensions

Due to recent events in the Middle East and the closure of several countries' airspace for security reasons, Azerbaijan Airlines has canceled some flights scheduled for June 13 and 14, 2025.

Axar.az reports according to the Press Service of Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

The canceled flights are as follows:

Baku – Tel Aviv – Baku

  • J2 021/022 (June 13)

  • J2 321/322 (June 13)

  • J2 021/022 (June 14)

Baku – Dubai – Baku

  • J2 011/012 (June 13)

Baku – Tehran – Baku

  • J2 8017/8018 (June 13)

Due to recent developments in the Middle East and the closure of airspace by several countries for security reasons, Azerbaijan Airlines has cancelled the following flights scheduled for June 13, 2025:

  • Baku–Lahore–Baku
    Flight: J2 145/146

  • Baku–Mumbai–Baku
    Flight: J2 059/060

  • Baku–Dammam–Baku
    Flight: J2 8205/8206
