Yellow wind warning issued in Azerbaijan

The National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a yellow warning regarding windy weather conditions expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in some regions, from the evening of July 16 to the afternoon of July 18.

Axar.az reports that the service informed about this.

According to the information, northwesterly winds will blow intermittently in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Gusar, Khachmaz, Khizi, Salyan, Neftchala, Hajigabul, Gobustan, Siyazan, Shabran, Shirvan, Lerik, Yardimli, Jalilabad, Ganja, Samukh, Naftalan, Goranboy, Gadabay, Dashkesan, Goygol, Kalbajar, Lachin, Saatli, Sabirabad, Gazakh, Agstafa, Shamkir, Tovuz, and Mingachevir.

The wind speed will be 13.9-20.7 m/s.
