Turkiye to build space base in Somalia

Turkiye is building a space base in Somalia under the leadership of the Turkish Space Agency.

Axar.az informs the news was reported by Turkish media.

The base will be used not only for space rocket launches but also for testing long-range missiles.

To support the project, Turkiye has been allocated land along the Indian Ocean coast, and the base is expected to cost around $350 million.
