A 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck Iran.

Axar.az reports the information was provided by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

The tremors were recorded in the morning at a depth of 10 km, 125 km southeast of the city of Bam.

No reports of casualties or damage have been received.

A 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit near the city of Zehkalut, located on the border of Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan and Kerman provinces.

According to reports, the quake occurred at 8:36 a.m. local time at a depth of 28 kilometers.
