Due to the ongoing heatwave in Iran, all government institutions, schools, universities, and educational centers in 26 provinces have been shut down.

The decision was made to reduce energy consumption and maintain the stability of the power grid. According to the Iran Power Grid Management Company, electricity consumption in the country has exceeded 77,000 megawatts.
Except for banks and emergency services, all other sectors have ceased operations.
