Cypriot club Omonia will travel to Baku without fans for the second leg of their UEFA Conference League third qualifying round tie against Araz-Nakhchivan.
Axar.az informs the news was announced by the club’s press service.
It was explained that because travel permits for the trip to Azerbaijan were only issued today, there wasn’t enough time to arrange for supporters to accompany the team.
Fans who still wish to travel to Azerbaijan independently have been advised to contact the club directly.
The Araz-Nakhchivan vs Omonia match is scheduled for August 7 at 20:00 at Dalga Arena. The return leg will take place a week later in Nicosia.
