Finland will not participate in the current phase of purchasing weapons for Ukraine from the United States.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Finland’s Minister of Defence, Antti Häkkänen.

He noted that Helsinki is focusing on acquiring products through a different program:

“We have allocated our resources to a domestic industrial program, and within this framework, we are ordering products for Ukraine from our own companies across Finland.”

According to him, the country has developed this program jointly with Ukraine to provide maximum support. Finland also considers it important for this initiative to be supported by other countries.
