International media gave extensive coverage to the historic summit held in Washington, D.C., USA.

'The UK’s leading broadcaster BBC described the summit as a ‘historic event.’

The report included President Ilham Aliyev’s words: ‘Today, we ensure peace in the Caucasus,’ and praised Azerbaijan’s strong stance.

Switzerland’s Neue Zürcher Zeitung newspaper noted the summit as an important step toward peace in the South Caucasus:

‘Among the agreements reached in the U.S. is a transportation route named after Donald Trump, aimed at opening borders that have been under blockade.’
