Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke by phone on Tuesday with President of the European Council António Costa.
Axar.az reports according to a readout issued by Pashinyan’s spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan, the PM briefed the President of the European Council about the outcomes of the negotiations held on August 8 in Washington, D.C., particularly the initialing of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Agreement on Establishing Peace and Inter-State Relations, the joint application addressed to the OSCE regarding the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group mechanisms, the unblocking of regional connections within the framework of the territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction of the countries and based on reciprocity, as well as the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity project.
“Prime Minister Pashinyan underscored that the established peace opens up new investment opportunities for the expansion of Armenia-EU cooperation,” according to the readout.
