Armenia PM, Iran president have phone conversation

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

Axar.az informs according to PM’s office, during the talk, the premier informed to the Iranian president on the results of the negotiations held on August 8 in the US capital, Washington DC, and emphasized the opportunities that the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan opens up for the region.

Pashinyan stressed that regional communication channels will operate within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction of countries and on the basis of reciprocity.

Also, the PM thanked the Iranian president for his objective assessment of the Washington agreements, and underscored the Iranian president’s upcoming visit to Armenia.
