In Kamchatka, 62 aftershocks with magnitudes ranging from 3.5 to 7.4 struck in the past 24 hours, 8 of which were felt by residents.
Axar.az reports according to the region’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, one of the aftershocks registered a magnitude of 7.4 and was felt at up to 6 on the local intensity scale.
A tsunami warning has been issued.
It follows a 7.5-magnitude earthquake that hit Kamchatka yesterday.
