Two F-16 fighters from the 86th air base in Romania took off to monitor the situation on the border with Ukraine.

According to the information, the measures were taken against the backdrop of Russia's air strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure on the Danube.

It was stated that the actions of the Romanian military were aimed at ensuring the security of airspace and preventing violations by unmanned aerial vehicles.
