US President Donald Trump has sent a letter to NATO and other countries regarding the imposition of broad sanctions on Russia.

Axar.az reports that he wrote about this on his “Truth” social network account.

Trump said that the United States is ready to impose broad sanctions against Russia if NATO countries agree and start doing the same thing, if all NATO countries stop buying oil from Russia.

He said that the fact that some NATO countries are getting oil from Russia is shocking:

“And this has greatly undermined your negotiating position and bargaining power with Russia. Again, when you are ready, I am ready. Just tell me when it will be. I think that this, plus NATO as a group imposing tariffs of 50-100 percent on China, will end this deadly war. China has a strong grip on Russia, and these strong tariffs will break it. This is not Trump’s war, but Biden and Zelensky’s war. I am in this to stop it, to save the lives of thousands of Russians and Ukrainians. If NATO does what I say, the war will end quickly, and all lives will be saved. Otherwise, you are wasting my time, energy, and US money.”
