If Russia does not agree to a peace agreement to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, the United States is ready to impose significant tariffs, but these tariffs can only be effective if European countries join in.

Axar.az reports that US President Donald Trump said this during his speech at the general debate of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

"If Russia is not ready to agree to end the war, the United States is fully prepared to impose significant tariffs that it believes will quickly stop the bloodshed. However, for these measures to be effective, European countries must also join in," the White House chief said.
