On Tuesday, gold prices rose and, for the first time in history, surpassed 3,800 dollars per troy ounce.
Axar.az reports, citing trading data, that on New York’s COMEX exchange, December gold futures increased by 25.7 dollars, or 0.68 percent, reaching 3,800.8 dollars per troy ounce—setting a new record.
It was also noted that December silver futures rose by 0.32 percent to 44.355 dollars per ounce.
