On September 23, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, met with the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Turkiye, Yusif Tekin.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Cabinet of Ministers.

During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the dynamic development of strategic partnership relations between the two countries in all directions, including in the field of education.

The commissioning of the new building of the Turkish Anatolian Lyceum in Baku was evaluated as a vivid example of effective cooperation between the two countries in the field of education. At the same time, it was noted that an Azerbaijani school will be opened in Istanbul, Turkey, from the next academic year.

Y. Tekin's visit to Karabakh University, as well as secondary schools in Shusha, Fuzuli, and Aghdam cities, was emphasized with satisfaction.

The importance of the documents on cooperation in the field of education and vocational education signed within the framework of the visit was noted.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects of cooperation in the field of education, including vocational education, the activities of the Turkish-Azerbaijani University, and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
