On September 22, the rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), academician Kamal Abdulla, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Israel to our country, Ronen Krausz.
Axar.az informs during the meeting, it was noted that Azerbaijan and Israel maintain close economic, scientific, and cultural relations. The friendship and partnership between the two countries continue to develop year by year.
The rector emphasized that in recent years, the expansion of international relations at AUL has been of particular importance both for the establishment of scientific and cultural ties: “I believe that our cooperation will continue at a high level. Israel’s scientific and cultural experience is very valuable for us. We are eager to benefit from this experience and contribute to the development of our academic cooperation.”
Kamal Abdulla informed the ambassador about the language and culture centers operating at AUL. It was noted that the Israel Center at the university continues its activities successfully.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on AUL’s inclusion in the QS ranking list of the world’s top 200 universities for its Modern Languages program, as well as the growth of its international reputation.
Expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality, the ambassador said he was pleased to be at AUL. It was noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Israel are developing dynamically. The strategic cooperation between the two countries is particularly evident in the academic field. It was emphasized that Azerbaijan–Israel relations are not only based on official statements but also on a truly well-established strategic partnership.
At the meeting, mutual agreement was reached on taking concrete steps toward future areas of cooperation.
