The diplomatic resolution of the crisis over Iran’s nuclear program remains possible, but the situation has become more complicated after the UN Security Council rejected the draft resolution proposed by Russia and China.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

“Diplomacy will never die, but now everything has become more complicated,” he said in response to a journalist’s question about the possibility of continuing negotiations on the Iranian file.

It should be noted that the UN Security Council refused to extend for six months Resolution 2231, which was proposed by Russia and China and supports the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran’s nuclear program.
