King Charles III and Queen Camilla of Great Britain will pay a state visit to the Vatican next month, where they will meet Pope Leo XIV for the first time.

Axar.az reports that this was announced in a statement by Buckingham Palace. It was noted that the visit will take place in late October.

According to the information, King Charles and Queen Camilla will take part in the ceremonies dedicated to the anniversary year, which is held every 25 years, during their visit to the Vatican.

It should be noted that the state visit of the royal couple was supposed to take place in April of this year. At that time, Charles and Camilla were able to have a private meeting with the Pope and were among the last high-ranking guests received by the pontiff, who died at the age of 88.
