No military objective can justify the forced displacement of more than a million people from Gaza and the humanitarian crisis there.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

According to him, Greece has supported Israel's right to self-defense since October 7, 2023, but at the same time, it has clearly stated that the grave consequences of human rights violations cannot be voluntary.

The Prime Minister noted that as a result of Israel's decisions, there is a risk of a decrease in international support and harm to the country's own interests.

K. Mitsotakis stressed that Greece remains committed to the concept of the "two-state solution" and will work towards the existence of an independent, democratic, and secure Palestinian state alongside Israel.
