AKP: PKK withdrawal marks step toward terror-free Turkiye

The elimination and disarmament of PKK elements inside Turkiye, as well as of armed and illegal groups in the region—especially those in Iraq and Syria—is the main agenda of the process toward a terror-free Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that this was written by the spokesperson of Turkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Ömer Çelik, on his X account.

“Along with the PKK’s announcement about its decision to withdraw from Turkiye and take new steps toward disarmament, this is a concrete result of progress toward a terror-free Turkiye,” Çelik said.

It should be noted that the PKK has announced its complete withdrawal from Turkiye.
