Pakistan closes airspace along Indian border for two days

Pakistan has decided to temporarily close its airspace for two days, citing precautionary measures amid Indian military exercises near the frontier.

Axar.az informs, citing Pakistani media, the closure will remain in effect on October 28 and 29, between 6 am and 9 am. The restriction applies to several flight routes within the Karachi and Lahore Flight Information Regions that connect to Indian airspace.

The Civil Aviation Authority has issued a Notice to Airmen to all airlines and aviation operators, advising them to take necessary precautions and plan alternate flight paths during the restricted hours.
