Peskov: Europe will have to fund Kyiv for years

Europe, which has “taken the Kyiv regime under its wing,” will have to spend a lot of money for a long time, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Axar.az informs he was commenting on President Volodymyr Zelensky’s statement that Ukraine would need financial support from the European Union for another two to three years.

“Clearly, by taking such a ‘client’ as the Kyiv regime under their care, Europeans will have to keep funding them for quite some time. The Kyiv regime knows very well how to beg for money and how to spend it in ways that make it impossible to trace later. I believe they’ll continue this practice — not just for one, two, or three years,” Peskov noted. “Europeans should be ready that if they keep dealing with the Kyiv regime as they are now, they’ll have to keep paying more and for much longer.”
