Amazon cuts 14,000 corporate jobs amid AI expansion

Amazon has cut 14,000 corporate jobs as it ramps up investment in artificial intelligence.

Axar.az informs that the AP reported this.

“The company has 350,000 corporate employees and about 1.56 million employees in total. The new cuts represent about 4 percent of its corporate workforce. Amazon’s corporate workforce has doubled as online sales surged during the pandemic.

The company has already cut 54,000 jobs since 2023, and the layoffs are expected to continue,” the report said.
