Serbian president accused of power abuse

The Serbian Prosecutor's Office's Organized Crime Department has accused President Aleksandar Vučić of abuse of power.

Axar.az reports that the Serbian prosecutor's office has released a statement on this.

"The indictment was initiated due to an interview with the Serbian President by Milomir Marić on TV Prva on November 3. During the conversation, Vučić called the investigations initiated by the prosecutor's office "fabricated". With such statements, the head of state is trying to use his presidential status and powers to exert unauthorized influence on the progress and outcome of the initiated cases," the statement said.
