On November 5, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Founder and Head of IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva, and Head of the Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva visited the 25th Anniversary Traditional Republican Exhibition-Sales Fair of Beekeeping Products.

Axar.az reports that during the visit, Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva inspected the stands, were interested in the various types of honey and beekeeping products presented by beekeepers, and received information about the production process and quality indicators. They had a sincere conversation with beekeepers about seasonal productivity and sales opportunities, and took commemorative photos.

It should be noted that more than 280 farmers from 43 regions are participating in the fair this year. Participants of the "Young Beekeeper" project, which was implemented at the initiative of IDEA Public Union to promote ecological entrepreneurship among young people, actively participated in the fair. A total of 1,128 kilograms of honey were presented to the fair by 4 "Young Beekeeper" families.

The "Güllü Yaylaq" beekeeping cooperative operating in the Khojaly region was represented at the fair for the first time. The founder of the cooperative, Ganira Asadova from the Ballıca village of the Khojaly region, has been engaged in beekeeping for many years. The goal of the cooperative is to increase women's employment in agriculture, preserve local beekeeping traditions, and promote the production of environmentally friendly products. Currently, the "Güllü Yaylaq" cooperative consists of 5 members and presented 400 kilograms of products, including 6 types of beekeeping products, to the fair.

Also, participants of the "Kalbajar Honey Festival 2025", held in the Kalbajar region in September of this year at the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, presented their products at the fair.

It should be especially emphasized that the attention and support shown by President Ilham Aliyev to Kalbajar honey in his speeches is an indicator of the highest value placed on the quality and recognition of the honey of this region. Today, Kalbajar honey is distinguished by its natural properties and quality and is becoming one of the national brands of Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that more than 100 tons of honey and more than 15 types of various beekeeping products were put on sale at the fair.
