Putin invites Tokayev for tea and coffee

Russian President Vladimir Putin invited his Kazakh counterpart, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to have tea and coffee together.

Axar.az reports that Tokayev welcomed the invitation positively.

“We have two parts. Now we will have lunch in an informal setting, and then I would like to invite you to my place, where we can sit and have tea or coffee,” Putin said.

Tokayev arrived in Moscow on November 11 for a state visit. He was welcomed at the airport by Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. The Kazakh leader will stay in Russia until November 12.

During the talks with Putin, key issues concerning the development of the Russia–Kazakhstan strategic partnership and allied relations in political, trade-economic, cultural, and humanitarian fields are planned to be discussed. Alongside these, major topics on the regional and international agenda will also be addressed.
