EU Commission plans to form its intelligence service

The European Commission plans to establish its own intelligence service to ensure the security of its institutions.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by European Commission representative Balázs Ujvári.

“We are in a complex geopolitical situation. Therefore, the European Commission is exploring ways to strengthen its security and intelligence capabilities. As part of this approach, we are considering the creation of a specialized unit within the structure of the Commission’s Secretariat-General,” Ujvári said.
